In the world of digital signage—sometimes, these structures need to come down completely. And when they’re positioned roadside, the removal can often be just as challenging as the installation.

Recently, we were tasked with dismantling a 96‑sheet digital walk‑in box mounted on the side of a busy cinema complex in the Midlands. The location made planning and safety absolutely critical. This particular 14m x 3m digital sign sat above pedestrian access doors, on a one‑way route, and right beside the entrance to a 24‑hour car park.

Working closely with our traffic management partners and contract crane team, we coordinated a precise late‑night operation. After the final film finished at 11pm, we closed the required traffic and pedestrian routes, positioned the crane and cherry picker, and safely lowered the structure to ground level. From there, we split it into two sections for transport, loaded it onto the vehicle, and reopened the road, pathways, and access points—all within just 90 minutes.
